We’re on a grits kick... This week alone, we’ve done creamy and sweet grits, savory style grits... but you know nothing beats this sweet maple AND savory lentil sausage combo with a pinch of sea salt and ALLLL the microgreens! 🤤🌱

Blizzard comfort food... ☃️ Mac & cheez with lentil chili and loads of broccoli microgreens! 🥦🌱 Our chili consisted of garbanzos, red kidney beans, black beans, lentils, red bell pepper, Vidalia onion, carrots, homegrown tomato sauce, ghost pepper, cumin, turmeric, black pepper, and @crummiesco because the more veg the merrier! 🌶Also, does anyone else add corn to their #macandcheese ? 🌽 Is this a Midwestern thing or just a carb lovers thing? 💚 I don’t know the origin, but I’m so glad it went down. 😋 Anyone else do this?

Curry soft tacos with microgreens deconstructed! 🍛 + 🌮 + 🌱

Our microgreens are grown on coconut fiber pads and delivered to your doorstep on the 11th day after the seeds meet water for the first time! 💦 Microgreens by definition are the growth stage between sprouts and baby greens. 🌱 A vegetable enters the “baby green” stage when true leaves appear! 🥕 It is not until these true leaves appear that the plant begins to absorb nutrients from the soil or grow medium. 🪴 You may see these true leaves appear on your microgreens 7+ days after we deliver them to you, but fear not... all the research that points to microgreens having superior nutrient profiles when compared with their mature counterparts is conducted on microgreens BEFORE they begin absorbing nutrients through their roots. 🌱 All the magic that our micros need to grow is in the seeds themselves! 👩🏻‍🌾🧑🏽‍🌾

Our subscribers have the option of utilizing our reusable, food safe plastic totes and trading them out each week for a new bin with fresh greens! ♻️ Then, simply find a countertop, tabletop or shelf to store these microgreens for ease of access and harvest! ✂️🌱 We store ours between (some of) our cookbooks and our bulk bins of grains and legumes! 🌯 Healthy habits start in the kitchen! 🍏
